The hotel forgot to order our airport taxi, so we picked up by someone that probably was suposed to pick up someone else, but with the same name. The taxi driver droped us of at the wrong location and we had to take a new taxi to find The Hotel Athena Palace. We were quit unsatisfied with the appologice we got from the hotel about this matter.

The rooms were not at all as we expected ! They were very small, with almost no space at all, the images on the website gives an impression of larger, more cosy rooms. We almost changed hotel because of this...

Due to the problems we had when arriving, the hotel said that they would arrange a good deal for us with the airport transportation. This did not happen :-(

They told us at check in, or at least gave us the impression, that the breakfast buffet was international, 'with everything' as the young lady said, but I can't say that we can agree with that.

A cheep hotel, with way to short beds, with overpolite staff (not all), it was very tiresome at times.
Some of the staff where happy when they didn't have to do anything to help, and said so..
Not a hotel I would accomodate to my friends and I am sorry to say that I won't come back.

A very friendly comfortable hotel which measured up to expectations. Only fault that we noted with the hotel was that there were no fire alarms in situ.

The taxi we arranged was waitng for us at the airport--very helpful and friendly taxi driver. Receptionist at hotel was friendly and welcoming.

Room was comfortable---loved the chandeliers and the large three cornered bath.Breakfast was adequate-- we enjoyed the bacon flavoured fried eggs!

Hotel is in a very convenient and quiet area. A very good restaurant[ Pivovarsky Dum] is just around the corner. Prices are very reasonable.

there were no taxi at the airport but i order one to wait for me, so I taked a another one.

Very polite and nice girl on reception, I also work in turisam in croatia and I can tell you that she was very good. Helpfhul..

I would have like a kettle and some cups in the room as I missed my morning tea which I have as soon as I wake up.

I was amazed to be presented with a bill at the beginning of our stay Usually we get one bill at the end which would include any meals etc.
