At this boat constructed in December 2006, you will find seven guestrooms of a standard level. There is also a reception area and the facilities of a typical lodging, but within a romantic ambiance as a boat. Before its opening as a dwelling for tourists, it used to work as a normal freight ship, but its transformation into a four-star botel added period style decorations in the rooms and other details.

Among the must-sees of Prague that you will have in the vicinity of the botel, the National Theatre, built by architect Josef Zitek between 1868 and 1881 and finished by Josef Schulz in 1883, is an outstanding construction. At the restaurant of the property, featuring 70 seats and fit for the organization of events and social gatherings, not only will you taste the musts of Italian cuisine, but you will also enjoy a terrific view of Prague Castle from the terrace.

One of the main attractions in the surroundings of Botel Matylda is Charles Bridge, built during the 14th century. It was named after King Charles IV, who was present during the inauguration, on July 9th 1357; however, the works were finished in the 15th century. Since then, this bridge, landmark to Prague, has connected the Old Town with the neighbourhood of Mala Strana.
