Although we arrived quite late, there was someone at the desk to greet us, and he was very helpful. ... The room was very spacious, although very warm. ... The Red Chair Pension is a cute little place right in the heart of the 'Stare Mesto' or Old Town Prague. A few short blocks west is one of the most famous views of Prague- the Charles Bridge and the Prague Castle over the Vltava River. Virtually every major attraction in the city is within a moderate walk. The Red Chair is very small, with maybe two dozen rooms. We stayed in the top floor, which was rather warm- we could feel the heat rise as we went up the stairs. The small air conditioner in the room was, I believe, actually more of a swamp cooler, and didn't provide much comfort on the hottest days we were there. However, the staff was quite accommodating and provided fans to help keep us comfortable. The breakfast buffet was ample (by European standards). There were a number of different breads available, along with meats, cheeses, yogurt, several cereals, milk, juice, and snack bars. The staff was quite helpful, and were quite willing to assist us with making plans, and even helped to make phone calls to book reservations for dinner and events on our behalf. I will definitely stay there again the next time I visit Prague.

The staff was very helpful in helping us navigate our way to the attractions we wanted to see. ... the bathrooms are very spacious and modern.
The breakfast assortments were delightful and satisfying...a great way to start off the day.
The location Red Chair Pension is terrific. In the heart of everything and only seconds away from the major attractions, but tucked away on a charming and quiet winding road. ... simple, but spacious, comfortable and clean and in a great location!

We met two receptionists, both of them speaking very good German. However, the second one did phone while we checked in for the second time. In my opinion, he should have finished our check in procedure first before calling someone else on something that did not have to do with our stay... But generally, very nice staff. ... Nice hotel in a very central yet quiet location. Shops, restaurants and bars close by, and the hotel is new, so it's very proper and has nice rooms.

We found Mario very helpful when we checked in and during our stay. ... There were 2 young ladys who also worked the front desk during the day and in the evenings, when Mario was not there and we found them cold and not very welcoming. When we asked for help from one of them to check something on the computer she said that we could ask Mario in the morning. We notice that she was looking at cars online and we felt she didn't want to be bothered. ... We asked for a taxi to the train station our last day (also reminder her on the morning we were leaving) and I think the young lady forgot to arrange the taxi because a maintance person took us to the train station and dropped us off where all the doors were locked and we had to find someone to assist us in locating the entrance and to locate the actually train office. We enjoyed our stay there and would stay again. ... We actually stay there twice during our vacation and neither room was air conditioned. One had a fan in it which was great for air and to cover street noise, but the other room did not have a fan. We didn't ask for one because we were only in that room for one night. ... It was a great location and the price was great.

our initial room was tiny, like a dorm. and no air conditioner. i would have been disappointed had i had to stay there the entire time. Luckily it was incredibly hot weather and we were able to move rooms to a huge room that was available...it was awesome, with great air conditioning unit! ... perfect location close to the charles bridge, and old town square. good breakfast ... a great place, pending that they get air conditioned room if they should need it.

Place and staff were good, only complaint was that they would not let us check in before 2pm, nor made any effort to see if anyone checked out and they could have a room ready earlier. Other than that no complaints, I would stay here again. ... Very helpful, staff arranged for a cab for us. ... Good place, clean, great location. And comparatively a value.

We stayed in the large attic of a 500 year old house. It was clean and comfortable. It was central to everything, and I'd stay there again. There was 24 hr. reception, and they were very helpful in giving directions.

We had no idea of where to park and it was only good luck that the gate to the parking space was open so that we could drive in there instead of parking on the very narrow street. ... There was a lot of noise from outside on the street. The hotel was very well located in a very attractive area and it was just what we wanted. ... More detailed directions to the hotel would be essential. If we did not have a GPS we never would have found it. ... Good location, convenient to services and sights. Noisy and in a crowded area. Very narrow streets, this needs to be taken into account. Very little access to parking.

Staff aren't very friendly and certaintly not helpful during my stay. I have brought my infant along and needed hot water as well as more clothe hangers. Staff actually told me to come down to the lobby to get the hot water boiler. They couldn't get any additional hangers for me and didn't change the toilet towels.
