Charles Bridge is one of the main sightseeing spots in Prague: it was built during the 14th century, and king Charles IV was present during the inauguration, on July 9th 1357. However, the name of its creator was not given to the bridge till 1780, as the works finished in the 15th century. This construction connects the Old Town with Mala Strana, the delightful neighbourhood where the hotel is located.

As a matter of fact, the foundations of the bed & breakfast -a construction made up of three floors- date back to the beginnings of the famous bridge: later on, during the 18th century the façade was made anew, and finally in recent years it became a guest house. In 2005 the present owners opened Charles Bridge B&B, offering 12 guestrooms, 2 apartments at a dependence located 200 metres away from the main building, and a breakfast service.

The last renovations were made in 2006, when works were carried out in the corridors and in some of the chambers. At this inn you will be close to Malostranske Namesti, or Lesser Town Square, which is the main tram stop in Mala Strana, therefore it will be easy to travel to the main sights in Prague.
