Coming by Plane: The Letiště Ruzyně Praha, the main airport in Prague and the whole Czech Republic, welcomes flights from all over Europe daily, and is located only 15 kilometres from the Hotel Capri. Taxis and buses are available to reach the city, where they will leave you off at a metro station near the hotel.
Coming by Car: If you arrive in Letiště Ruzyně Praha Airport, continue along K Visnovce and after passing the town of Hostivice, turn right into Jiráskova. Then turn left into E48 / 6 / Ceskoslovenské Armády and this will lead you out of Hostivice. Drive around 10 kilometres along the A6 highway, pass Praha 17 and Praha 6, different districts in the city, till you reach the one enclosing the Hotel Capri, Praha 7. Once you pass the Letna gardens on your right, pay attention, as you will have to turn in Kamenická, the street of the lodging. As you drive along Veletrzni, the track that continues the A6, take the second on your right and you will reach the hotel, which is pretty easy to identify due to its yellow façade. (This journey will take around 27 minutes)
Coming by Plane+Bus: (connection with the metro and train): At the Letiště Praha take the Airport Express, which will leave you at the Holesovice train station after a 30 minutes journey. Here, change to the metro (line C) and get off at the following station, Vltavská, only 5 minutes from the front door of the Capri.
If you feel like walking to the city centre, the journey will take around 15 minutes; otherwise, the tram (there are stops of the lines 1, 8 and 25 right on Kamenizká street) will reduce this time to 6 minutes. |
