Hotel Jerome House, 3 Star Hotel, Stare Mesto - Old Town, Prague

In the centre of Prague, you will really near from the Old Town Square and the Charles Bridge, which was constructed during the 14th century. The building where the hotel works is from the 14th century and has a history of its own: Czech reformer Jerome of Prague was the owner of the property between 1395 and 1416.

Being a close friend of Master John Hus, this famous celebrity in the past of Prague also stayed in the house as a guest many times. The construction was restored in 1999 in order to turn it into a hotel; however, the medieval façade was preserved. Because of his ideas in favour of Wyclif's philosphlical views, Jerome was imprisoned in Vienna and ended up escaping to Moravia.

Jan Hus was one of the most important contributers to the local Protestant movement. He was even influenced by Martin Luther`s thinking. The hotel has 52 guestrooms appointed along five floors and offers a breakfast buffet in the mornings. Also there is an exchange office at the reception desk.
