The building where the hotel works is from the 14th century and has a history of its own: Czech reformer Jerome of Prague was the owner of the property between 1395 and 1416. |
 Being a close friend of Master John Hus, this famous celebrity in the past of Prague also stayed in the house as a guest many times. The construction was restored in 1999 in order to turn it into a hotel; however, the medieval façade was preserved. Because of his ideas in favour of Wyclif's philosphlical views, Jerome was imprisoned in Vienna and ended up escaping to Moravia. |
 Jan Hus was one of the most important contributers to the local Protestant movement. He was even influenced by Martin Luther`s thinking. The hotel has 52 guestrooms appointed along five floors and offers a breakfast buffet in the mornings. Also there is an exchange office at the reception desk. |
