 King George's House (Dum "U krale Jiriho") is a lovely hotel located in the heart of Prague. It is positioned in a green old building from the 14th century. The building was of course renovated but preserving the antique picturesque ambience. The Hotel has a pub in the courtyard and another one on the first floor, as well as a restaurant on the ground floor. In the pub, don't forget to try the best Czech beers, served in long glasses. |
 The restaurant serves the richest Czech dishes, including the famous goulash with dumplings, and hotel guests have 10% of discount. Breakfast is served daily in the restaurant.  The Prague Castle, the city's main attraction, is very near from the Hotel. Walking through this area and crossing the magnificent Charles Bridge is one of the most interesting activities of the city. Other interesting attractions of Prague include the stunning Wenceslas Square, the National Museum, the Prague Opera, and the Jewish town or the Old Town with its narrow streets and old buildings. For shopping you will find many options for all budgets and tastes, including fancy jewelry, antiques, clothes, and decorative pieces, as well as books (don't forget to buy one of the famous local writer Kafka!).
