By plane:
- From Prague-Ruzyně airport by a ticket and take bus nr. 119
till Dejvicka subway station. Here take the A (green) line direction Skalka. At Muzeum station change and go to the C (red) line. Here take subway direction Haje. Get off at I.P.Pavlova station. Go up the escalator and up the stairs on your left hand side direction Sokolska Street. Hotel Select is around the corner less than 200 mts away on the left hand side, next to a police building. A more comfortable although more expensive way is to take a minibus of a company named Cedaz. They are parked just outside of the arrival hall.
By train:
You may arrive at Main station (Hlavní Nadraži) or Holešovice station. Both stations are on the same subway C (red) line. Get off at I.P.Pavlova station. Go up the escalator and up the stairs on the left hand side direction Sokolská Street. Hotel Select is around the corner, less than 200 mts away on the left hand side, next to a police building.
By Car:
- From D1 (Brno, Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest).
Follow the signs CENTRUM. Turn to the left immediately before the second traffic lights into I.P.Pavlova Square and left again into Sokolská Street.
Hotel Select is approx. 150 mts away on the left hand side next to a police building.
- From D5 (Plzeň, Nuernberg, West Germany)
Follow the signs Praha-CENTRUM. Finally you´ll get to the river. Cross the Jiraskuv most (bridge), get on the Resslova Street, go straight, pass Karlovo Square, continue straight, now the street changes name into Ječna.
Follow all other cars going straight up. Keep driving on the left lane. At I.P.Pavlova square turn right into Sokolská street. Hotel Select is about 200 mts away after turning on the left hand side, next to a police building.
- From D8 (Teplice, Berlin, North and East Germany)
Follow the signs Praha-Centrum, Drive along V Holešovickach street, Argentinská street, Za Viaduktem, Hlavkuv most (bridge), Wilsonova street. At some stage you will see and pass the State Opera House followed by the National Museum on the left hand side and Wenceslas square (Vaclavské Namesti) on the right side. Continue straight on for another approx. 400 mts and you reach I.P.Pavlova square. Cross the tram tracks. Straight on about 200 mts away on the left hand side is situated Hotel Select. |
